Narrative
This movie was extremely simple and vulgar, so it looked like an American comedy. I can see an American remake in the future. This was quite refreshing for a French comedy, although it’s not my preferred type. French comedies usually start out funny and suddenly become very serious before the end.
His brothers are greedy and pure evil
No one has a hidden side: Benoît remains completely clumsy and cowardly. Fake Fiancee has no social graces from start to finish. Only the parents are the same standard rich and confused couple you see in most French comedies. They were the least interesting because their arc is completely predictable in such films.

I’m glad I have the unlimited movie pass because ticket prices have gone up so much at the movies that I’d be upset if I spent a lot of money on this. Its future will be as a standard Sunday night movie on French television. It was a very refreshing French comedy, although not the kind I prefer.
