Or whether they cast the right actor to play RCB
Narrative
It follows Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham as they have a long-standing rivalry that comes to a head. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner had previously filmed at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same filming location was also used to portray Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC TV adaptation of Poldark. I haven’t read the books, so I can’t comment on how accurate it is.
And great escapism
However, I can say that I really enjoyed this show and I really hope they get a second series. It’s a bit cheesy. But it’s great television. I managed to watch the whole thing in 2 days.
I wish there were more episodes
However, it’s good that they didn’t drag it out too long. David Tennant is great, as usual. But I was more surprised by how good Danny Dyer was. I’ve seen him in a few things.
But he was brilliant
(Who hasn’t?) And I was a bit skeptical about seeing him in this. There are so many characters that I just love and some that I loved to hate. Too many to mention. Highly recommended.
Please Disney Plus renew this show
