Synopsis
On a deserted road in the middle of the night, Shula stumbles upon her uncle’s body. As the funeral begins around them, she and her cousins uncover the buried secrets of their middle-class Zambian family in filmmaker Rungano Nyoni’s surreal and vibrant tale of the lies we tell ourselves.
