Not one likeable character. No chemistry other than dislike between characters. Just no heart!The bones are good, and there's potential, but it's just underbaked.
I can even see where things should have been funny, but the opportunities are missed again and again and again. Characters make moronic decisions, and so apparently did the creators.With a solid gold cast there is just no excuse for this being so bad!My entire family thought this looked good, but none of us enjoyed it. We waited for it to get better, but no luck.It's like a bad 90's comedy, but probably would have been forgettable even then.Such a shame..

CNN cameraman Margaret Mott fearlessly captures footage of war zones. Sundance Premiere Starring Christian Amanpour Directed by Lucy Lawless.. Screening at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival Never Look Away is an engaging documentary about photojournalist Margaret Mott, delivered with insightful discussions, good acting and a strong sense of direction and tone. Documentaries about photography and war are not new, as the structure of the documentary is nothing spectacular or surprising, but the core of its emotional message, the direction and style of the documentary still retain a strong investment, and many conversations and concepts are well studied. Mott is an interesting person and the documentary does a good job of explaining who she is, her influence on her work and what makes her special. Although there is some tasteless use of music and some editing options are a little confusing, overall I enjoyed it.

After his home is conquered by the tyrannical emperors who rule Rome today, Lucius is forced to enter the Colosseum and must look to his past to find the strength to restore Rome’s glory to its people.
His version focused on the more mythic elements of ancient Rome and would have seen Maximus enter the afterlife only to encounter other souls yet to ascend further.
From there, he is resurrected as a Christian and must travel back to Rome on a mission to stop the spread of Christianity, while also crossing paths with the new emperor, Lucius.
The film would have ended with Maximus cursed to live forever, featuring a montage of the soldier fighting through the Crusades, World War II, and the Vietnam War, eventually revealing a modern-day Maximus working at the Pentagon in Washington.
